Activision has announced a standalone DJ Hero Turntable and is available for sale from the Guitar Hero Store. Its current price is $70. The game's multiplayer mode allows two DJ Hero turntables to compete against each other.

In the one hand, the turntable is an impressive piece of hardware. But on the other, in order for two players to play it would require someone to spend $70 on top of the $130 spend on the original bundle. To put it into perspective, consumers can find a 60GB Xbox 360 for about $200 these days as well.
