Score: A

This action/comedy tale follows Po a fat nonathletic panda that dreams of fighting alongside the best in kung fu. The story may sound cliche but the movie feels fresh and is very well made.

The movie features a top level cast that includes the likes of Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, Seth Green and Jackie Chan. I was skeptical at first but the cast does an excellent job. The music composition and special effects are also exceptional and suit the movie well. Along with strong visual effects the characters all give a distinct and unique feel.

This 3d animated movie is one of the most visually stunning out there. The action sequences are very well made and entertaining. The director successfully integrates visual and audio effects with the dialogue to deliver solid chuckles constantly throughout the movie.

The movie takes place in China, which according to the movie is the birthplace and the residence of the top martial artists. In addition the main character is a panda, an animal that is held in high regard amongst the Chinese. With a population of over 1.3 billion who wouldn't want to go out of their way to please this market.

Final Word: This is a highly entertaining movie that delivers constant laughs from start to end. Along with the strong visual and audio effects this movie contests Pixar for top dog of animated movies.

I thought that was the best animation movie since the day of "Finding
Nemo". Thumbs up. Saw it and really enjoyed it. Lovable characters, amazing
Kong-Fu fight sequences, and well written story. Recent animations, especially
by Disney, have become repetative when you look at the story; not this movie.
