Genre: Comedy The movie features an all-star cast that play insignificant people in an artistic plot that is about absolutely nothing.
Unconventional roles: The cast include the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Tilda Swinton. Unlike the roles they are used to playing, they play average people doing silly things and do not have any impact on the world. Amusingly, the performances are very convincing and very well done. Brad Pitt particularly steals the show with his role as a not-so-smart gym trainer.
Just like Crash: Clooney plays a sex fanatic that constantly cheats on his wife. One of the people that he cheats with is Tilda Swinton who believes Clooney really loves her and is the wife of John Malkovich. Malkovich plays the role of a CIA agent whose “important” information gets misplaced at a gym that Brad Pitt works in. Everyone is interconnected so it is just like crash, except without any of the importance.
Final Word: I would have liked to have more to write but the movie really is that empty. Not high on entertainment or very memorable; this is a movie that is amusing and leaves a shallow after taste.
