	A delightfully scary thriller that’ll leave you disgusted, petrified and thoroughly entertained.

Sam Raimi, who had previously earned acclaim for his cult horror series The Evil Dead, before reaching a wider audience with the Spider-Man films. The film circulates around Los Angeles loan officer Christine Brown and her refusal to extend a loan for Mrs. Ganush in order to impress her boss. In retaliation, the old woman places a powerful curse on Christine, transforming her life into a living hell.

Drag Me To Hell is the perfect combination of unexpected terror, great special effects, gore, creepy characters, and a moderately believable storyline. In more than one scene Sam Raimi will have viewers either jumping out of their seats or lurching forward in them. While the ending was a little anti-climatic, the movie until that point was entertaining enough to overlook that minor fault. Its been a while since a good horror movie has come out and Raimi has shown other directors what they were missing.
